Mike Blackmore is a lifelong audio enthusiast and self-confessed Lowther lover. For over 14 years, he’s explored the artistry of full-range loudspeakers and horn design, with a particular fascination for the sonic personalities of different magnet types. His passion for British audio heritage stems from early curiosity about how magnets make music, later evolving into hands-on experience with designs by Lowther, Voxativ, AER, and others. When not swapping drive units or listening through a Leak Stereo 20, Mike enjoys sharing insights into the craft, history, and sound character of fine loudspeakers.
