From time to time our workshop produces experimental pieces, prototypes or cabinets built for demonstration. These are authentic Lowther instruments crafted to the same acoustic standards as our main range, but offered in limited numbers and often unfinished for those who wish to personalise them.
They present a rare opportunity to own genuine Lowther loudspeakers or cabinets at a more accessible level, while retaining the speed, immediacy and emotional presence for which Lowther is renowned.
Each item in this collection is unique, strictly limited and once sold will not be repeated.
The Accolade 2
We have just four pairs of Accolade 2 cabinets remaining from our experimental collection. These are unveneered and ideal for enthusiasts who enjoy finishing work themselves.
Coupled with either the DX55 and DX3 or the DX45 and DX2 instruments from our Concert Collection, the Accolade 2 becomes a fascinating loudspeaker. Its folded horn geometry preserves the immediacy and speed of the Lowther sound, while offering the freedom for you to apply your own veneer or finish to suit your interior.
